SIMAK is completely independant from the image source. As long as the image is in a digital format. This flexibility allows to meet the entire array of your needs in diagnosing.
Images are associated to a complete medical file for a better diagnostic
Because the medical history of a patient is mostly important in the diagnostic, SIMAK keeps track of the medical file. In fact, archived images(both color fundus and angiographies) are associated to a patient file and to an examination.
Each examination can be recalled and generates a preview table of all images associated to this examination
In a simple synthetic table, you can browse all the images of one examination. Double-clicking one image opens it in full-screen mode. You can even enhance the contrast and intensity, or auto-equalize the image.
SIMAK allows you to add complementary images to a past examination
This feature can be very useful if some examinations are still done with analogical systems. This way, you can add later a scanned copy of an angiography to an examination.
